Welcome to the Igbo Community Hull app. By downloading, accessing, or using this application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using the ICH app, you confirm that you:

• Have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement

2. Description of Service

The ICH app provides a platform for the Igbo Community in Hull to:

• Manage community membership and profiles
• Track attendance at community meetings via location verification
• Process dues and financial contributions
• Coordinate events and announcements
• Facilitate community elections
• Connect members through forums and business directories
• Preserve and share Igbo cultural content

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access
• Ensuring your contact information is current and accurate

4. Membership and Dues

• Membership fees and dues are determined by the community leadership
• Payments made through the app are final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated
• Failure to pay dues may result in restricted access to certain features
• Payment disputes should be raised with community administrators

5. Attendance Verification

The app uses location services to verify meeting attendance:

• You must grant location permissions for attendance tracking
• You must be physically present at the venue for the required duration
• Attempting to falsify attendance is a violation of these terms
• Location data is used solely for attendance verification

6. Community Standards

When using the app, you agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other members
• Share inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Use the app for commercial purposes without approval
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with the app's operation or security

7. Business Directory

• Business listings must be accurate and legitimate
• Online businesses must provide valid registration information
• ICH is not responsible for transactions between members and listed businesses
• We reserve the right to remove listings that violate these terms

8. Intellectual Property

The ICH app, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Igbo Community Hull. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the app
• Reverse engineer or decompile the software
• Use our trademarks without permission
• Reproduce community content without attribution

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• The accuracy of user-generated content
• The quality of third-party services or businesses

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ICH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Repeatedly fail to meet membership obligations

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
